Club Dress Code

Where people matter and traditions count

Consistent with our Vision, we have a contemporary dress code which seeks to balance golfing tradition with up-to-date requirements. We want members, guests, and visitors to enjoy their time at Deeside and therefore request that everyone respects the following dress code and maintains an appropriate standard of dress at all times.

On The Course

Recognised golfing attire is required, including golf shoes.

Blue denim jeans, track suits and similar clothing are not permitted.

Juniors do not require to wear golf shoes.

In the Clubhouse and Practice Facilities

Smart casual dress is required within the Clubhouse. This includes smart denim jeans. Modern casual shoes (including training shoes) are permitted.

Waterproofs; track suits; rugby/football or similar sports tops; hats; and golf shoes must not be worn in the lounges/dining area.

All clothing must be clean, neat and tidy and not faded, distressed, ripped or soiled.

Social and Private Functions

Dress code will be as indicated on the event notice or as agreed with the Club in advance.

Note

It is in everyone's interests and enjoyment that we maintain appropriate standards at all times. It is for that reason that anyone not adhering to our dress code may be asked to leave the premises. The Clubhouse and Professional Shop staff have the full support of the Council in enforcing the dress code. Council reserves the right to decide what is suitable dress.
